Terry started TTE Transcripts Worldwide in 1986 as a one–woman secretarial and transcription firm providing services to various audio publishers. Client referrals soon spurred expansion into other areas, such as legal, telecommunications, IT, engineering and finance. With the globalization of business at the turn of the century, Terry recognized a need for translation and foreign language transcription and began offering those services as well.

In 2007, TTE became certified as a woman–owned business. Terry is a member of eWomenNetwork and NAWBO. In January 2008, Terry traveled to Ecuador with eWomenNetwork and CARE to help women in that region get started in business.

On a personal note, Terry is married with two daughters, two dogs and three cats. She loves horseback riding and music.

Based in Florida, Sven is responsible for sales management and business development at TTE Transcripts.

Sven graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. With a 20–year career as a sales and management professional within the technology industry, he has extensive experience in international business and has established clientele worldwide.

Fluent in both English and German, Sven has wide–ranging knowledge of multicultural business development. He has lived and worked in Germany on several occasions, eventually establishing an international subsidiary in the U.S. for a tech firm based in Frankfurt. He purchased the company in 1998 and was engaged in the marketing, sales and distribution of computer hardware before joining TTE in 2009.

Scott is responsible for the day–to–day operations of TTE’s client services, as well as the primary client interface on operational and technical issues related to transcription and translation. Based in Maine, Scott manages a pool of subcontracted typists each day, assigning work and assisting in the proofing of transcripts.

Scott has a Bachelor’s in Slavic Languages from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill and has worked as a translator of Russian, Polish, French and Italian. He brings considerable organizational and analytical skills from his 13–year career in the airline industry, during which he took assignments in Russia and Poland training passenger service and sales staff. Scott also served as a general sales manager representing six smaller East European airlines in the US and Canada.

Scott has traveled extensively throughout the world for both business and pleasure.

Arlene has been with TTE for almost ten years, starting as a typist and worked her way up to become TTE’s head proofer and trainer. She is also trained as an operations manager, and fills in for Scott when he is on vacation.

Before joining TTE, Arlene worked at an insurance company in the financial services department and has experience as a medical transcriptionist.

Arlene is married with two children. Besides her love of animals, Arlene enjoys reading, antiquing, music, travel and hiking.

Loren started at TTE nine years ago as a typist, then moved into a proofreading role.

After attending Northern Illinois University, Loren worked for a family physician practice for four years before returning to TTE in October 2008 to help with billing, payroll and administration.

Loren lives in DeKalb, Illinois with her boyfriend and their two dogs.
